Foods Corporate Office and Distribution Facility - Denver, Colorado
The Sysco Foods Warehouse and Distribution Facility in Denver Colorado was designed and constructed by Architectural Nexus
and Big-D Construction as a design-build team working together for the Owner. This facility consisted of large open warehouse
environments for dry goods as well as a sophisticated system for cooler and freezer areas. Shipping/receiving, inventory controls,
administrative offices, training facilities and vehicle maintenance facilities were also integrated into the overall design. Heavy
concrete roads, aprons and access ways were provided for the heavy truck operations. The elapsed time from commencement of design to
construction completion was approximately 18 months.
