ARCHITECTURAL NEXUS PROMOTES FOUR PROFESSIONALS

SALT LAKE CITY (June 30, 2006) – Architectural Nexus, one of the Intermountain West’s principal architectural firms, today announced the promotion of four professionals to associate.

Julie Berreth, AIA, who has more than 20 years of experience working as an architect in Chicago and Salt Lake City, has been promoted to associate. She specializes in management of large scale commercial office projects and design-build work, and is currently working on the University of Utah Medical Center West Pavilion. Berreth is President-Elect of AIA Utah, and is a LEED Accredited Professional through the U.S. Green Building Council. She received both a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Master of Architecture degrees from the University of Michigan.

Robb T. Harrop, AIA has been promoted to associate. Harrop, who has been with Architectural Nexus since 1998, utilizes both 3-d computer modeling as well as traditional design approaches in the design process. He has played an integral part in the design of numerous projects including the LDS Rexburg Temple, Huntsman Cancer Institute and Mercy Medical Center in Durango, Colorado. He is currently involved in the design of the University Hospital West Pavilion at the University of Utah. Harrop received his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies as well as his Master of Architecture from the University of Utah.

Jeffery Davis, AIA, who specializes in higher education and performing/arts facilities, has been promoted to associate. With 13 years of experience in the architecture industry, Davis has worked on projects such as the Brigham Young University Richards Dance and Music Building and the University of Utah Orthopaedic Center. Davis received both a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies and a Master of Architecture from the University of Utah. He is a LEED Accredited Professional and a member of the United States Green Building Council.

Brian Cassil, who has more than 10 years of experience in the visualization/3-D computer rendering field, has been promoted to associate. Cassil joined Architectural Nexus in 1998 and has worked on renderings for projects such as the LDS Church’s Rexburg Temple, and the Huntsman Cancer Research Hospital.
