ARCHITECTURAL NEXUS PROMOTES FOUR ASSOCIATE

SALT LAKE CITY (June 30, 2006) – Architectural Nexus, one of the Intermountain West’s principal architectural firms, today announced the promotion of four professionals to associate.

Jay Taggart, AIA, who specializes in health care, commercial industrial and higher education facilities, has been promoted to associate. He joined Architectural Nexus in 2000 and has worked on projects such as the University of Utah Eccles Critical Care Pavilion, the University of Utah Hospital West Pavilion Expansion and the Mercy Medical Center in Durango, Colorado. Taggart received a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies and a Master of Architecture from the University of Utah.

Larry W. Oldham, AIA, who specializes in K-12 education and religious buildings, has been promoted to associate. Oldham joined Architectural Nexus in 1998 and has worked on projects such as the Granite School District’s Gearld Wright Elementary School and several buildings for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Bradford R. Busath, AIA, LEED™ AP, has been promoted to associate. Busath has 13 years experience in healthcare, higher education, multi-family housing and commercial design, and is currently involved in the design of the University of Utah Medical Center Expansion. Busath received a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Studies and a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Utah. He is LEED™ accredited by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).

Gerritt Timmerman, AIA, who specializes in health care and higher education facilities, has been promoted to associate. His experience includes work on the University of Utah Orthopedic Center and the Mercy Regional Medical Center in Durango, Colorado. Gerritt has been a participant in the Architecture for Health Committee for the past year. Prior to joining Architectural Nexus in 2000, Timmerman received both a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies and a Master of Architecture from the University of Utah.
