ARCHITECTURAL NEXUS PROMOTES WHOOLERY TO ASSOCIATE

SALT LAKE CITY (July 2005) -Architectural Nexus, one of the Intermountain West’s principal architectural firms, today announced Lisa Whoolery, AIA, has been promoted to Associate.

Whoolery, who joined Architectural Nexus in 2004, has over 10 years of experience. She specializes in designing educational (K-12) buildings and works with educators and civic leaders to create buildings that not only foster healthy learning environments for students, but that also serve as community facilities.

Her experience includes the Emma Eccles Jones Medical Sciences Building on the University of Utah campus, Brigham Young University Cannon Center and several Salt Lake City elementary and middle schools.

Whoolery currently serves as the Salt Lake Chapter President of the American Institute of Architecture (AIA) and is a member of the Council of Educational Facility Planners International. She received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in 1993 and Master’s of Architecture in 1995 from the University of Utah.
