Utah Data Center

The Utah Data Center is a $1.5 billion, 1 million-square-foot facility that occupies 200 acres at Camp Williams in Utah. Under the direction of the US Army Corps of Engineers the facility includes 100,000 square feet of raised-floor data center space, 900,000 square feet of technical support, offices and 500,000 square feet of support facilities, a vehicle control inspection and visitor control center. This design-build project was led by a joint venture of Balfour Beatty, DPR and Big-D Construction. Teamed with Kling Stubbins, Arch Nexus provided Architecture, Interior Design and Site Landscape Architecture services for the project. The design-build delivery included coordination of a multi-disciplinary approach to design in a Design-Build led, bid-package/fast track design environment. The team included a full complement of design engineers along with design assist for MEP.
