Construction of the first Nexus Builds tiny home project was a call to action to fight homelessness. Arch Nexus employees responded, completing a beautifully crafted home and became better designers in the process. This home was donated to the BLOCK Project and shipped to Seattle, Wa. By assuming the role of contractor we took the opportunity to see design through a different lens.

The BLOCK Project places accessory dwelling units in the backyards of individuals through Seattle providing not only housing, but also a community for people previously experiencing homelessness. The Nexus Builds BLOCK Home was the 9th to be placed and the first to pursue Living Building Certification.
