Education Projects:

Lincoln USD Performing Arts Center

The new performing arts center serves as the gateway to the campus, greeting students and visitors alike as they attend class or performances. What was once a dated, but functioning building, is now a state-of-the-art teaching facility. The recent renovation at Lincoln High School incorporates updated classrooms, a black box theater, and a 350 seat multi-use theater. The future aspirations of the performing arts curriculum and goals were explored through a collaborative planning process with students and parents, superintendent’s staff, school administration, and performing arts faculty. These discussions envisioned all types of performances, and considered the flexibility needed to accommodate curriculum changes, which directly shaped the result of the renovation.  The performing arts theatre reinforces the goal of providing opportunities for students to explore new educational and career possibilities in an inviting and supportive environment.
