Utah Data Center

This $1.4 billion, 1 million-square-foot facility occupies 200 acres within the Utah National Guard camp near Camp Williams, Utah.  Built under the direction of the US Army Corps of Engineers the facility includes 400,000 square feet of raised-floor data center space, 100,000 square feet for technical support and offices, and 500,000 square feet of support facilities, including storage tanks, kennel, warehouse, vehicle control inspection building and visitor control center.  This design-build project was led by a joint venture of BalfourBeatty, DPR  and Big-D Construction through a nationwide collaborative effort.  Teamed with KlingStubbins, an A/E firm in Philadelphia, Architectural Nexus provided Architecture, Interior Design and Site Landscape Architecture services for the project.
