Kroger E-Commerce Fulfillment Center

Arch Nexus, together with Big-D Construction, built this facility to serve Kroger’s greater Dallas market. It’s location is perfect for same-day or scheduled grocery delivery straight to the customer. This project includes a 492,000-sq-ft warehouse facility with automated areas for frozen, chilled and ambient storage. Shipping and receiving docks are positioned to provide efficient transportation of goods, aided by a proprietary automated robotic system for storage and retrieval.

In addition to the warehouse, a 31,000-sq-ft, 2-story office component was built, connected to the main warehouse. This office complex supports all facility operations including sales, shipping, invoicing, a mailroom, and employee lounge areas. It also includes a full-service dining facility and multi-purpose showrooms for product demonstration and large clientele accommodation. The end result is a comfortable facility, designed for smooth, uninterrupted operations.
