Swire Coca Cola Draper

Swire Coca-Cola, the third-largest independent bottler in the U.S., expanded their 402,577-sq-ft headquarters in Draper, Utah, in order to keep up with its fast-paced growth. 351,446-sq-ft of additions to office, warehousing, and distribution spaces were built, along with remodeling many portions of the existing facilities. This allowed many functions of the original facility to expand and relocate into the new sections.

Some of these additions occurred simultaneously, but for other stages of the project a phasing scheme was implemented, limiting the impact on facility operations. Warehouse construction was especially critical to the schedule, as seen in one instance where we ensured that the new north warehouse was completed at the same time as the installation of the auto-pick robotic system, allowing for uninterrupted production. The end result is a large facility able keep up with future growth in the years to come.
