Greenwood Academy

Greenwood Charter School takes a holistic approach to education, inspiring a healthy balance in life through healthy eating habits, exercise, personal discovery, service learning, and environmental stewardship. We took these ideas and embedded them in the design by providing both a gymnasium and auditorium which is rare in a charter school. Classrooms are organized around groves, creating an exterior that reflects their connection to the earth. The large butterfly roof over the main entrance collects rain water and provides a connection to the Ben Lomond Peak in the distance.
